What Is Bass[sic]?

Bass[sic] is an underground UK club night based in the nation’s capital. Not concentrating on one style of music, we aim to put on a party without threatening the music’s integrity and ensuring people’s enjoyment is catered for in all departments.

So far we have hosted popular parties in the heart of Shoreditch, with special guests including Peo de Pitte, Cut La Roc, Plaza de Funk, Ben & Lex, Beat Assassins, Pimpsoul, Merka, NAPT, Normski and many more!

In 2012 we were also proud to be involved with the hugely popular Elite Force Boat Party and the Hot Cakes Boats ‘n’ Hos Christmas Boat Party featuring Stanton Warriors and The Freestylers, both on the river Thames in London.

Our resident DJs are a talented bunch with a wealth of experience of performing at parties and festivals throughout the UK and overseas.

Who Are We?

Bass[sic] is the brainchild of four DJs looking to fill the gap between local nights and super clubs, to provide an affordable way to see quality underground acts in intimate surroundings…

Nick Dawe (aka Big Nick D):- label boss of Big Square Records and resident DJ.

Hugh Wernham (aka Hubie):- host of Hubie Sounds on the award-winning  NSB Radio and resident DJ.

Rejectbeats (Dan Pask aka Danny Reject and Kim Wood aka Kimpossible):- promoters of Rejectbeats events, co-promoters of the Big Beat Reunion, producers with releases out on Big Square Records and resident DJs.

Where Can You Find Us?

Bass[sic] is currently based in Shoreditch, London, with parties primarily taking place at Bells Of Shoreditch. We also have plans to expand further, including guest boutique nights at a number of established clubs, festivals and boat parties around the country.
